Clearing Away Some Cobwebs
Hey all! It''s been a long time since I've even had time to look at my blog. But, I will be heading home from Japan in December, so I think I will start up a regular schedule once I return home, since I will then have more time to cook and stuff. I'd post up a recipe for you all here, but I'd like to hone it a little more first, since it contains ingredients that you probably cannot get in the States. So I'll have to check out alternatives before I do that, and I may need to order stuff from The Spice House as well. For those of you who don't know The Spice House is quite possibly the best place for a foodie to get what they need to make some seriously tasty international cuisine.

Hungry, Hungry Tiger Start!
The name sounds strange, I know. But I wanted to have my stuffed tiger as the mascot. Anyway...
So I've been hankerin' to start a food blog, and I finally thought of a name. :) Food has always been a very important part of my life. Some of my earliest memories were of watching people in my family cook. I would always drag a stool over to my grandmother when she was cooking and watch everything she did. As I grew older, I became more fascinated with cooking and began watching Food Network and buying plenty of cookbooks. And cooking is what brought me and my boyfriend, Chris, closer together. And now, I'd like to share my experiences and experiments with you all, because good food is nothing when you don't have people to share it with.
Special thanks to Susan of FoodBlogga for the advice! I should post my first article soonish.
